Liam Clancy

Liam Clancy grew up in a horsey, farming family in South Tipperary. A graduate of Writtle Agricultural College in Essex, he worked as a stunt rider and riding instructor until painting gradually took over as his full-time profession. 

Most of his work portrays life and sport in the Irish countryside, a subject with which he is intimately familiar. Commissioned pieces remain a large part of his output, and he is always happy to discuss commissioned work.
